The Task management on Replit is completely bug-ridden. It keeps bringing up multiple old tasks that have long been resolved and I have no way to get rid of them. They don’t appear in the Task Board but they keep on bothering me in the Agent window by randomly reappearing. The Agent is aware that these are bugs but he can’t do anything about it. But here’s the worst part: I used the ‘Background’ parallel task option to get a task done and spent quite some time improving the app in the smaller background UI. After I finally approved the changes, the task got stuck in a perpetual state of working on merging code which says ‘Applying changes to the main version…‘ for over an hour now and there is not even a way to stop this eternal process. The Agent also does not know what to do about it. I am downloading a zip, hoping to save the work now.
Is it going to remain stuck forever with Replit saying that it is applying the changes? What a nightmare.
Known issue, they’re working on it. I’ve been in touch with engineering about this since it’s been hitting my projects too.
