Request to Unlock Domain and Provide Transfer Authorization Code

Hello,

I am contacting you regarding the domain name doublepopperz.com, which is currently registered through your service.

I would like to transfer this domain to another registrar. I contacted Name.com (listed as the registrar in the WHOIS records), and they informed me that I need to coordinate directly with you regarding the transfer process.

To proceed, I kindly request the following:

  1. Unlocking the domain (removal of the “clientTransferProhibited” status).

  2. Provision of the transfer authorization code (EPP / Auth Code).

  3. Confirmation that the domain is eligible for transfer.

I was also informed that I may need to pay in order to submit this type of request to support. I do not believe it is reasonable to charge a fee simply to unlock a domain or provide the required transfer authorization code. At this stage, I am unsure how to proceed and would appreciate clear guidance on the correct process.

Additionally, I would like to ensure that the current DNS configuration can remain active temporarily to avoid any service interruption during the transfer process.

Please let me know once these actions have been completed, or if you require any further information from my side.

I have the same request for www.privawell.net and have been waiting for a response from support for over 3 weeks. wrote in help x 4, community, sent several emails, and on X, not a word so far.

agreed, i have reached out on all the channels i can think of, including the ceo directly via x. nothing for 4 weeks and have spent over a thousand bucks building.

Same situation here with layladata.com, also registered through Replit with Name.com as registrar of record. Name.com sent me back to Replit too, and I’ve had no reply from Replit support in a month since I asked for the AuthInfo (EPP) code on 5 June, while the subscription kept billing. Like you, I don’t think it’s reasonable to gate an auth-code release behind a fee. I’ve opened two ICANN Contractual Compliance cases (01614701 and 01616810) and written it up here: 30 days of support silence on a domain transfer: I need the auth code for layladata.com . Adding it next to yours so Replit can see this is a recurring pattern with reseller-registered domains, not a one-off. Did you ever get doublepopperz.com released, and how?
