I am facing an issue with an email. I have setup website through replit and then linked domain. but now i need to use email so used cpanel webmail. but the thing is since domain is linked to replit, i am not receiving email in cpanel webmail. but i can send email to other users. is there any work around? how can i solve this issue?
Are Replit still not offering email hosting, or allowing you to point MX records to an external email provider? Yes, that is pretty poor showing if still the case (I’ve not checked recently, because I prefer to host all my domains elsewhere - much more control).
Ok I checked and I believe you do have the ability to setup other DNS records when you’ve purchase a domain through Replit. You need to point the MX records at an email provider who will host and manage your email just like on all your other domains.
Actually, i have domain from godaddy and then hosted in hostgator. Since website is done through replit. domain is linked to replit.app.
i want to set webmail from hostgator. so, is this possible?
You will need to ask hostgator:
My domain name is hosted at Replit. I believe they allow me to change the MX records, so can I point them at you so you can host my email? If so, please advise the process to setup an email account with you

I changed records for mail and mx in hostgator and webmail is working fine now.
Here’s how i resolve the issue:
domain pointing to replit
mail and mx pointing to hostgator
if you are using domain and is registered in other web hosting server.
