Is the option to add code directly gone?

hey I just joined replit & I watched some youtube videos on using the software. Are we able to add code directly on here ? If so, can someone explain where/how ? Or is it easier to just enter my AI prompt to build my app ?

You can edit any file you want. The file drawer is on the right (there is a toggle for Library/File Tree).
