I have to say, Replit has played a blinder with the ability to talk to Agent like it’s a generic GPT platform like ChatGPT or Claude, and to also have the ability search the web!
Because suddenly, we have no reason to switch to ChatGPT to ask it questions about our app and then pipe answers back into Agent.
Just do it all in Agent. I reckon in the past week, almost 50% of my chat with Agent has been non-coding requests. e.g. asking it for ideas or research.
So instead of $25/month flat fee to OpenAI for all my general app related chat, Replit have suddenly got me asking Agent all those same questions - at $xx per prompt!!
But you know what? Whilst it is early days of trialing this approach, I’d say it is probably worth it. Because Agent can see my code, so its responses have the full context of what I am building. Cutting ChatGPT out of the loop is speeding up my overall workflow and making it a lot more efficient.
