Brand new "Setting fire to money mode" in Agent 3!

Hey guys,

Hope you’re having a good day.

My app has become quite large [Currently 4gb in size with a 12gb database] and so I am having to use the advanced model often in order to build new functionality without breaking existing functionality.

This is no problem, it is what it is, but I have noticed something super annoying…

Agent 3 seems to come with a new “I’m going to do absolutely nothing and set fire to your money mode”

Take a look at this image:

I’m noticing now when planning or building, Agent can think for a little bit, do absolutely nothing and then stop and charge you money for doing absolutely nothing.

$0.39 is no big deal, but this is happening A LOT and the charges are often more, in the $0.80 to $1.50 range.

I’d estimate I’ve wasted $30 to $50 just in the last 24 hours because all these small charges add up.

This is the kind of thing that is going to push newer customers away. Most people aren’t going to accept being charged $30 to $50 and receiving nothing in return.

A business will not survive taking advantage of it’s customers like this. You have to give people value for money.

Yep. It’s bad. Annoying thing is, I didn’t even realize the increase in costs until after a few builds I ran. I thought it was a bug or something and had to do some research to find out other people were seeing the same thing. Lack of transparency on price increases, especially this significant, is very bad business.
