Excessive checkpoints the last couple of days

Hey guys. My costs have SOARED in the last 2-3 days. Agent checkpoints have at least doubled in frequency. Am I the only one that’s noticed this?

Noticed this as well. Give one prompt, get 3+ checkpoints.

Yes. And they happen rapidly with very few changes (if any at all, sometimes it’s 2 checkpoints and all it’s done is ideas).

@kody-replit what gives?

I’m easily using 300% more funds over the last 3 days.

Maybe part of it is trying to reign in 3.7 from going to YOLO. It’s frustrating but I don’t think the intention is to nickel and dime people. There’s a lot of other platforms trying to offer this service. I think Replit team wants its community to make cool things.

I wish there was more transparency or changelog style updates so we knew what to expect.

Prices jumping 300% all nonchalant and incognito is a bit excessive. It would be easier to swallow if we were made aware and felt like we were part of the process.

But we sort of just bear the weight and take guesses.

I’ve definitely noticed the same thing. I’ve been a little shocked with how much my usage costs have been and I thought I was maybe just overthinking it but after seeing this, I’m glad I’m not the only one but I do hope they fix it.

Aaaaaaah…I noticed the MASSIVE cost spike, but didn;t realise it was cos agent was creating more checks. Or at least i thought that was a good thing and now i see i pay PER checkpoint

We deserve credits for this! They can easily credit everyone 50% of their past month bill.

I had about the same usage, but I blow through alot of checkpoints normally, i stopped paying attention until I hit my limit. I noticed better performance the last 30 days except when heavy load kicks in, then they seem to throttle me. I didn’t break $150 last month and i used it pretty much all day letting it go and giving it commands between other work.
