At the moment, the billing does not appear to reflect my real usage of the app replit, which is why I would like to better understand the criteria behind these charges.
I have noticed this also, they are just billing me randrom amounts. I have an open support ticket for a human for over 2 days now

This is demotivating, because you have to be rich to create something on Replit. I’m thinking of migrating to Google Studio before continuing here. The price charged is not fair.

I don’t know about having to be rich. I did one build out in 6-7 hours that might have billed out at 10k or more on a traditional build
What exactly did he tell me? That stuff is really really hard and not to expect a common thing to be correct the first time when the urls were entered on googles end exactly how it said? And when it didn’t work it tried 5 more times before getting the url correct? The concept is the same from site to site.
Your other apps weren’t built in Replit, so if you think you can duplicate the env config on Firebase and have it work, you’re mistaken. You have to add different dev config details, etc., that relate to your Replit project. There are at least a dozen sticking points in the Sign in with Google configuration on both their end and the Replit end that can trip you up.
You’re right, @RocketMan, it isn’t ‘really really hard’. But it is picky and a PITA. All of Google’s cloud products are, actually, and their interface is hardly intuitive.

its two urls, auth and callback its the same setup not matter when you create the login. the callback handles the push after auth from google. google doesnt send something new every install that it has to figure out what is different about this one. replit made errors on the url it wanted me to add. it tried adding ports several different times whcih isnt allowed in the google flow. it should have known this
I have setup google auth many times. I have a bit of code I use over and over again. Just plug in the two urls to google and it works everytime. This is my point. Replit should be able to do the same thing.
