Hi Replit team,
My client’s account (username: jacobae) has been banned without any prior notice or email notification.
The account was working normally about 8 hours ago. But now I find it completely banned — even the password reset function returns “You are banned.”
This account hosts a production application for a client, and the website is currently down, causing significant business disruption.
Could someone from the Replit team please review this case and restore access? My client has not violated any terms of service to my knowledge.
My client has also submitted a support ticket via email with full account details.
Thank you.
I’ve never heard of this happening. I’m not saying you’re lying, or this is fabricated, however that’s odd.
I think you’d have to flagrantly violate rules. I mean you have to really really be trying to be banned here. In fact, for a centralized hosting platform they’ve held up (from what I’ve seen) better than most “decentralized & censorship resistant” platforms minus geolocation issues when trying to publish in highly restricted locations like Pakistan, Iran, or another region.
Get the ticket number from the client it should be in the subject line of the email, and in the email itself.
You’ll have better luck grabbing that number and tagging FranciscoCM or ZergGirl once you have it. I also hear more users are having better luck reaching them on X / twitter.
This sounds… odd… and something doesn’t add up tbh.
That should help though.
Ticket number: #350854
@FranciscoCM @ZergGirl — could you please help look into this? Thank you!

If you get crickets and you really want an answer don’t hesitate to try twitter and LinkedIn.
Again, I’ve never heard of this happening. There is a first time for everything though.
I hope you get it sorted!
