Hello everyone, my name is Ivan. I am a data scientist trying to start a business. I am using Replit to (attempt to) bring data science to small and medium sized businesses using AI agents. Replit has been an amazing tool. I have restarted/refactored my app twice as I learn more about web development, desire more control, and vibe code less. I am now using a FastAPI and (mostly) HTMX stack. I am using LangGraph to build my agents.
I graduated my with PhD in economics in 2024. Since then I have had a bit of a mis-adventure working for a crypto startup, and been introduced to the realities of being an entry-level applicant in the tech industry. I am still looking for jobs, but this business is my purpose, professionally.
I have a lot of experience in causal inference. If anyone ever wants to talk about anything data science or AI agent related, let me know. I will soon be diving into the literature on deep research, so Iâd be interested in connecting with anyone who shares an interest there, as well.
Hi Bhawana! Itâs really great to hear about your experience. Iâd love to learn more about India, and I also plan to work in this field as well. I think itâs amazing how technology can transform agriculture and bring practical solutions to everyday challenges.
My experience as well. Iâve started using the superduper, high scale model (with the $$$$) which seem more precise and thorough. But, all of my projects are pre-revenue.
You brought up a good point about the ROI for Replit-built apps in general. Itâs exciting to vibe code but whatâs the actual conversion rate to revenue generating apps? Are we, the users, making money for ourselves or just for Reddit?
Hello - I am having issues with Replit support and now getting very concerned. Iâve been rebuilding my website on Replit but the domain keeps failing. Completed all L1 type of support checking (all looks good from my side) and the last response was that issue now need to go to platform engineering to look into it and has been silence since. This is very stressful. I understand growing pains and all that, but you can not be app building platform if you can not address simple domain issue quickly.
Hi, Iâm Alexa - i am an entrepreneur and enjoy building personal projects. I was wondering if anyone could assist with how I implement Image Searching in my app? I have tried multiple times but it never works. I want to upload a picture or video and have it search the internet and find the link to that product. Thank you in advance!

Welcome Steve! Replit actually builds native mobile apps now. On the home screen, type what you want and select âMobile appâ as the type. Agent will scaffold a real native app using React Native and Expo. No coding needed.
To test it, install Expo Go on your phone (free), scan the QR code from your Workspace, and youâll see your app running natively on your device.
When youâre ready to publish, Replit has a guided flow for the App Store. For Google Play you can do it manually from the same codebase. Youâll need a Google Play Developer account ($25 one-time) and/or Apple Developer account ($99/yr) when you get to that stage. No rush on those until youâre happy with the app.
Post your questions in the Agent category as you go. Lots of helpful people here.
My name is Wayne I am from NY. I have no real background in coding or anything like that. I work as a Security Coordinator New York Presbyterian. I have had replit for a year now. I have built 3 or 4 apps on there I feel like 2 of them have the ability to actually be something beneficial. I have signed up for the buildathon and excited to see how this turns out.
