My name is Francisco and I recently joined Replit as Head of Community and wanted to take a moment to introduce myself! I am thrilled to be here and excited to find new ways to support the community moving forward. I was inspired by Replit’s goal to support the next billion software creators allowing anyone to build faster than ever before. I’ve been stunned at the pace the team is building at and how they find new ways to empower builders.
Last week wrapped up both my first launch and first month here, with that I wanted to share a little more about what I want to focus on:
My core goal is to grow the Replit community through finding new ways to support our members around the world. I spent the last few weeks connecting with folks like @realfunnyeric@mark and most recently @Gipity-Steve. I’m hoping to get to meet more of you with additional programming like open office hours very soon
As I make my way around the platform I also want to be more present through blog announcements, opportunities to connect with the team, and swag giveaways for our active members to start
One of my early projects here at Replit is to not only to improve how feedback is collected, but also how we follow up with the community after. Over the next few months I hope to build this out with the product team and iterate with you all
As I continue to ramp up and develop some of the programming above, I also want to start addressing some more immediate action items:
I’ll be taking some time to update the platform and ease up some of the auto moderation and update some of the banned keywords such as the opposite of tall as Steve pointed out!
We launched Agent 3 last week and your feedback led to the team working on fixes over the weekend that Amjad recently tweeted about. Your feedback has been very helpful and I ask that you continue to post in this megathread with as much detail (screenshots, loom videos, and descriptions) as possible.
I’ll aim to come back next week with a wider update to share with you all around next steps and some programing updates
Appreciate all of your support and am looking forward to building together!
Thank you for your openness and the way you’ve engaged with the community—it really means a lot. Your support shows that you’re invested in more than just the work, but also in the people behind it. I look forward to the weeks to come.
We’re glad you’re here and look forward to your contributions and constructive discussions in the forum as we take Replit to the next level. I’ve watched several of your videos—you’re impressive and engaging
It always feels like a nightmare in the middle of issues like those we’re currently seeing with Replit 3. But with you now in our corner to start channelling the discussions, I feel confident things are going to start looking up.
Hi Marshl- qq- Is there a way to tag Replit in threads related to bugs or feature requests so that someone from the team could response. Generally looking for a quick comment on if it’s being considered or if the team needs some additional info to make a decision.
To answer your question, using the @ feature to draw attention to your post is likely the best option, but I am sure Francisco or one of the other Replit employees in this community may have more accurate info.
Ah yes. The question was for @FranciscoCM . Thanks for answering though. Looking for a way to @ Replit instead of any individual, or perhaps understand whom specifically to @.
Thanks for the update @FranciscoCM - Replit will be successful if they continue to listen to the people who use it most frequently. Everyone’s feedback here comes from a place of love and desire to see Replit succeed.
Good to have you, I did escalate my issue with support, I hope we get a resolution to the new Agent 3 issues with larger projects like mine, its been a mess to say the least but i’m trying to be patient. I do appreciate the engagement from the replit team though.
