Feel free to add yours but here are my top areas where I think Replit should focus:
- HIPAA compliance
- Making authentication easier (not just with replit auth)
- Guardrails for agent (already happening) and super easy source code / db control
- Mobile app deployment (iOS, Android)
What do y’all think?

Native mobile app is already doable using Agent.
HIPAA seems a bit of a niche area, probably not something that a majority of Replit users/coders would need.

I agree. But then again, if Replit now wants to be a full-stack hosting, DB, auth, domain name and everything company (not just a cool vibe coding platform) then it needs to pull its socks up and realise there is a lot of responsibility to offering those things.
I guess that is why it got into bed with Microsoft!

Me being in the medical industry, I can see a use case for HIPAA compliance. However, Replit needs to solve the IP issues by offering secure solutions that do not index IP and PHI into their models before the healthcare industry will adopt.
BTW, anyone at the Ai4 conference this week in Vegas? I was going to post this question, but there really isn’t a category for these types of posts.
I saw a presentation from Braintrust today that listed Replit as a customer and found their presentation on LLM evals and scoring functions interesting.

It’s the entire medical space in the USA. It’s huge. And necessary!

Do you live in Vegas or just going for the conference?
Just here for the conference.
I’m going to just miss you. I’ll be there 21-25.

I agree with 2-4, strongly disagree with 1.
I was able to get Google auth working within a day or two, but issues mainly just came from url mismatches in Google cloud config. Haven’t tried others like Facebook or Microsoft 365 yet, if they’re similar I actually don’t think it was that tough, just time consuming.
I’d like to see being able to easily iframe or embed other services. Admittedly I haven’t played with it enough.
I really would love to see mobile, even the ability to give instructions to recreate my app to iOS and Android. That would be amazing!

@shawn93 and @brunoborgesprei - my scaffolding app to let you build native iOS/Android, web and PWA from a single codebase will be fully open source on GitHub by Monday.
@gipity-steve Please share! Would love to check it out!

Don’t you think 1-2 days to get google auth is a long time given we can spin up a working application in 30 minutes though? I know @realfunnyeric can do this in closer to 30 mins now having done it many times.
Thanks for responding but can’t agree with this one. So many opportunities in healthcare in the US (and that’s coming from a native Brit!)

I mean deployment to iOS/Android as you’ve mentioned later on not working with replit on mobile. Nice feature but in reality I want to be coding at my desktop but using the website/applications on my mobile.
5-10 minutes for new google auth config, all in all done.
Hot swapping auth can be a bugger but with high powered mode, 30 mins to swap auth.
Yeah, but it had nothing to do with Replit, it was all on the Google Cloud config is what I’m saying. It was my first time in there trying to figure out all the settings and then Google Cloud is fidgety with case sensitivity.
