I’m managing and setting up projects for clients, and want to use their card for the agent usage. But at the moment, workspace billing is set exclusively for the workspace owner’s account, in a shared manner.
So my only solution to achieve this is currently to set up a new workspace with a new email address, sign up for Replit Core on all new accounts, and invite myself to the workspace to minimize friction. This feels extremely backwards to the point where I’m questioning what the point of having separate workspaces is?
I spent $1500 in agent usage in February on my Replit core account alone, and I want to keep my expenses tidy and sensible. But adding a new Replit core plan for each project I manage that may want to be kept separate is just far from ideal. Any ideas on fixes here? Or any plans for improvement in this area? Why not just allow a separate card/payment method for each workspace managed by a workspace admin, with the default being their default card?
I don’t see this happening anytime soon. But we work with many clients, and either they have their own tenant with Replit and invite us into it (much easier now with new Core & Pro features) or we just have an agreement and post-bill for the usage.
I am in the same boat, however, now I am completely out of luck from doing anything in one of my two workspaces with multiple apps due to Billing/Payment bug not allowing me to do anything. Spent over $2k in usage past 3-4 months working on these apps, I did not use GitHub unfortunatley, and seems ever since Pro/Core/Team plans changes this problem started.
Tried all contact e-mails, submitted multiple ‘support tickets’ (even tho seems to be no ‘ticketing’ features), FB, Reddit, etc. Going on my 2nd week with no support/response and stumped of options other then literally starting all apps from scratch.
