Replit AI agent now comes with a sense of humour

As Replit AI agent works, it now gives a range of status messages, not just “working”, such as:

feeling

beepboopbopping

flicking lights

opening pod bay doors

whirring gently

humming along

entering the Matrix

consulting Wall-E

click clacking

gaining sentience

I asked the AI agent about these, and it replied:

Ha! Glad those gave you a laugh. Those are just the little loading messages that play while I’m working away behind the scenes. “Opening pod bay doors” is a personal favourite — hopefully I’m more cooperative than HAL 9000!

Well… That’s Claude lol Not really Replit right? Go use their chat. It does the same. It’s how you can tell they use Claude for their conversation LLM and part of their agent wrapper.

It is funny though lol it was a nice touch of Replit letting it blatantly carry over.
