Hi, so I felt like re-designing and creating my own content management system/blog using Replit and the Notion integration. If you are interested here it is: https://notesaboutstartups.com/
It was fun to build the new blog and I learned a lot, such as the importance of cache and databases (PostgreSQL). Also, I realised that the more I use Replit the more I can cut costs and move away from SaaS providers.
It’s obviously not finished but lets see what happens.
Old provider charged me $20 per month just to host my old blog. Now I can just host it for $1 per month using Replit and customize it as much as I like. The old provider did not introduce any new features for over a year and I noticed degraded performance.
