I built a free browser-based study tool for precalculus based on the OpenStax Precalculus 2e textbook. It covers all 12 chapters and is designed to be a one-stop resource for anyone working through the course. Here is what it includes:
Formula Reference
All 129 formulas from the textbook organized by chapter with full LaTeX rendering. You can search across all formulas, expand or collapse chapters, and copy each formula in either LaTeX format (for Overleaf and LaTeX editors) or Word/Docs format (for pasting a rendered equation directly into Microsoft Word or Google Docs).
Flashcards
129 flashcards with 3D flip animations. Each card shows the formula on the front and a plain-English explanation on the back. You can filter by chapter, shuffle the deck, and mark cards as known to hide them and focus only on what you still need to study.
Practice Problems
Problem sets organized by chapter with step-by-step solutions. Tracks your progress automatically so you can pick up where you left off.
Multiple Choice Quizzes
Chapter-by-chapter quizzes to test your knowledge.
Embedded Textbook
Direct access to the OpenStax Precalculus 2e textbook reader without leaving the app.
Video Library
Professor Leonard’s full precalculus lecture series, all 100 videos, organized by chapter and topic. Tracks which videos you have already watched.
It also works as an installable app on iPhone and Android through Safari’s “Add to Home Screen” option, so you can use it offline like a native app.
