Reading some of the latest topics from people, I believe we’ve forgotten one of the golden rules of using Replit. In all the noise of the Agent 3 launch, we’ve assumed this is no longer needed:
Occasionally start a new agent chat!!
Every now and then, the agent gets tired and forgetful, and its context window is blown to pieces. You could ask it what 2+2 was, and it would tell you it had just written a 1,000 line script to calculate the answer … wrongly… and at a cost of $30.
So as soon as you “feel” agent is no longer vibing, the only answer is to kill it and start a new chat.
You are all vibe coders, so you need to learn this new skill of “feeling” the agent’s vibe.
Please, please please, consider this.
I suspect it is the answer to 50% of the “my agent has gone berserk” posts on here!!
