Introduce Yourself!

Hi Everyone - I’m Nick from Radnor, PA. I grew up around computers (my Dad was a sales rep for EDS then General Motors (communications/imaging) so we were early adopters of computers in the house and I taught myself Basic then QuickBasic then Pascal. In high school started with C/C++ and in college mainly C (systems engineering). After 20 years I’m revisiting coding as a hobby as a way to introduce to my own kids now as well as help with my business (data aggregation, website, forms etc.). https://www.iocalc.com/; https://ironcladfinancial.com.

Andrew B here.

Working on the innovative side of healthcare trying to find ways to improve the experience for everyone involved. I’ve been using Replit Agent for quite a while now to develop fully functioning prototypes of features for some of the apps we develop in house. I’ve always wanted to learn to code but could never find the time. Now I can execute on a vision with minimal coding experience and deliver high value quickly.

18 years in healthcare, both clinically and in leadership roles. Active in software development vision, planning and execution. Lately a big focus on leveraging AI to improve patient access and experience.

Married for 17 years, 3 kids, a dog and a dang good life.

I love to mentor and develop the hungry and motivated rising stars. Feel free to ask for help or an opinion!

Hi y’all Julian Harris here – I’ve been creating internet software for about 30 years, a chunk of that time at Google. I’m currently obsessed about making AI agents [1] and have tried almost every AI coding agent there is though new ones pop up each week. I think there is a need for a community sharing insights and best practices around AI coding agents so I created a Twitter one here [2].

I think replit is an absolutely transformational tool and I say that wearing multiple hats:

  1. As a way to create niche tools for specific roles. Here’s a communication tool for doing “tier lists”-- a popular thing on YouTube. I couldn’t find one that did the grunt work of digging up the icons etc so this one is for websites.
  2. A little utility for ML researchers for quickly and easily turning plain English into LaTeX math that can be used in notebooks and academic papers. Really wished I had this last year! https://mathlatex.replit.app. This is a class of apps that I think you should create a leaderboard for – fully built in one prompt. One Prompt Leaderboard! I did it between sips of wine at the pub. This is pre-React and should be a static website. It worked before but trying to deploy it again now it’s failing. I should probably just recreate it.
  3. Art. I like creating artistic things using technology and over the NY break I created Voronoi which takes a video camera image in real time and filters it through voronoi polygons. Looks a bit like stained glass. Bonus: see Balls and Edges for variations I’ve been playing with. It took 4 hours to make the first version and I wrote up about it here
  4. What I’m working on at the moment: a backend for a new tool called “Landscaper” that ultimately will build a competitive landscape tool that extracts information from a set of competitors and autogenerates things a bit like getdeploying.com does (which is probably autogenerated). A variation will likely automatically create an aggregator for any industry, automatically, with autogenerated SEO content too.
  5. PM support: pricing strategy using van Westendorp Willingness to Pay. https://willingnesstopay.replit.app – it’s really cool how easily it generated graphs and assessments.

Where people used to create scripts, I think tools like replit will accelerate overall business workflows. In fact that’s my plan: build an audience, understand their workflows, and then build an increasingly comprehensive suite of tools to automate those workflows.

I love the replit vision of measuring “time to first dollar”. Key aspect here is to have audience building tools and some of that either requires acquisition (like Exploding Topics but that’s an Ahrefs subsidiary), API partnerships, or even better, building your own proprietary data sources.

Hi everyone. Mutlu here (in Turkish, it means “happy”).

I’m a computer engineer, ex-SONY, didn’t code for many years while I was in the advertising industry. Replit & AI made me code again.

A product I built - Seslio.com (article to podcast generator), is being used by a 100-years old Turkish newspaper. Another one that converts articles to videos is about to be tested by the largest newspaper in Türkiye.

I also built “aikesfet dot com” (an AI tool discovery platform), “tagAlign dot com” (that analyzes newspaper websites and identifies advertising tags & makes recommendations about their ad-setup), and working on another one for hotels.

This was all possible thanks to AI & Replit, thank you guys!

Hello Replit Community,

As a seasoned marketing and sales executive based in Dallas, Texas, I bring extensive experience from the commercial construction and insurance sectors, with a particular focus on technology products and software solutions.

Throughout my career, I’ve built a network of over 100,000 executive contacts across these industries. While I maintain this valuable database for business development, I’m now exploring an innovative direction in software development.

My current project, WEVOSI.com, focuses on developing applications that leverage AI Agents to potentially eliminate traditional UI components in software. I’m interested in connecting with fellow developers and entrepreneurs who share an interest in this emerging approach to software architecture.

I’d appreciate hearing your thoughts on this concept and exploring potential collaborations within the Replit community.

Best regards,
Mike Beattie

Greeting from Luxembourg.

I used to do programming like 15 years ago, was doing PHP, ASP (a lot), javascript … then I lost the pace as I was doing some other tasks. With Replit I can now catch up & give life to some ideas.

So far, I’ve built a task optimizer tool for my wife’s work & another one which I plan to expand over time around the theme of EU AI Act EU AI Act Compliance Tool

In the future, beside apps, I’m thinking of using Replit for Wireframing & quick POC.

The assistant release was the trigger for me to finally go 100% on Replit, also the ability to Repl from nearly anywhere!

Many people say AI will augment / support developpers, I believe this is more of an evolution of the practice. This said, if I knew a bit more about the code I’m using I could go 10x faster especially when the agent/assistant is stuck in a loop

Finally, I love (soccer) football more than I play …

Glad to be here

Just a quick feedback on this one. I share your vision that tools will be maybe not UI less but with much lighter UI than it is today.

For example, I’ve done a tool for my wife to manage her work / tasks and quickly we figured out that entering data was much easier with voice and I would say same would apply to CRM systems (Sales people don’t like to type in :-))

Hi, I am Festus Akingba. I am a Bookkeeper, I have proprietary accounting software that I am using in providing services to my clients.

I am not a skilled developer, I use replit agent to build prototypes for my developers/staff and it has been successful.

I am exploring the possibilities of AI agents in all my applications. I want as much automation in Accounting and Reporting as possible; anyone should be able to prepare reports through prompting once the data is uploaded or interfaced with the application.

Thanks! Feedback is most welcome. I will prepare a documents with more details. Yes, blockchain is more reliable to tracking things than using intermediaries, but my plan was to build an initial prototype without blockchain, and add it once the rest of the app mechanics are functioning well.

I’m Yuri, 52, from Latvia. After leaving my CMO position at a large company, I’m focusing on making my next 10-15 years more impactful. 30 years ago, I programmed in C/C++ while studying physics at university.

I’m developing a service for people over 50 who want to fulfill their dreams and become better versions of themselves. My vision is built on the belief that a fulfilled life balances health, fitness, sincere relationships, meaningful work, and financial stability.

As a solopreneur using modern AI tools, I’ve started with a practical project: an AI agent for healthy nutrition. I’ve already built a scraper for my regular supermarket’s website that collects product data and nutrition facts, and created a parser for supermarket invoices. I’ve also implemented the Nutri-score system (not yet mandatory in Latvia) for all products and am working with a nutritionist to develop a diet improvement algorithm.

Here’s my Replit showing the products scraped from rimi.lv with their calculated Nutri-scores. I’m hoping this work will help accelerate the adoption of Nutri-score in Latvia.

Hey everyone! Been using Replit for awhile now when teaching my college courses on blockchain and digital innovation. It has become our “go-to” technology for allowing students to quickly get started developing and deploying projects for their class projects. With the introduction of the agent and assistants the students are jumping in quickly and building out some interesting projects.

I’ve used Replit quite a bit in the last 2 months to launch 3 websites for friends and also launched a SaaS for independent authors formatting their books. Looking forward to seeing what else I can push forward this year.

Find me on X @stillnotdoneyet
