Hey everyone! I’m Nick from North Tahoe, and I’m here because I love building tools that help everyday people make their voices heard.
Right now, I’m using Replit to develop GuidedLetter.org, an AI-powered tool that makes it easy for communities to rally around issues and send powerful, personalized letters to decision-makers. A lot of people want to create change but don’t know where to start—so I’m building tools that remove those barriers and make advocacy as simple as possible.
Replit has been a game-changer for me, especially when it comes to quickly spinning up proof-of-concepts and getting ideas into the real world fast. Whether it’s integrating AI, refining user workflows, or testing new advocacy features, I’m loving how flexible and efficient it is.
Excited to connect and see what everyone else is building!
Hi, my name is JP, I worked for a few years as Mechanical Engineer, getting my masters majoring half in boring, but hopefully useful business stuff, and half in injection pressure evaluation (diesel common rail), even though I now only own EVs.
I shifted to software engineering when I could in my company, having been a hobby programmer since before university, and have worked as one for the last 10 years.
Recently resigned to try and build my own companies (should have just done this 20 years ago, before going to study engineering), but now is better than never.
I built NewsPlatform.org and applied to YC unsuccessfully, and then built evlineup.org, and now, with replit, I am giving NewsPlatform another try, so I started a week ago. (I see when I logged in and bought a years membership to replit, that my first replits were from 4 years ago, but I must have just logged in and messed around, and never knew how good it was. I have been using it extensively this last ~7 days and am excited at the potential to rapidly prototype, based on what I was able to do, getting NewsPlatform up and deployed!
I hope I can help people in this community if they need it, and also learn a lot, as I’m now hitting roadblocks with the app.
Hi Kody, thanks for the invite, and for your cool intro.
Very interesting and cool background!
Thank you for your service!
And thanks for setting up this community!
Here is my intro:
I just love to build cool stuff. Since replit - I’ve built a lot of fun stuff, some of which is used and some of which is not. Since I started building with replit - I’ve had some really good opportunities from friends and business owners wanting me to build stuff. For fun I also build this simple link sharing tool: https://linktwo.replit.app/tobzz.ad
Hey Replit community!** I’m Martins, a total coding newbie** who just discovered the magic of Replit—and wow, my mind is officially blown! I’ve never coded before, but thanks to Replit’s simplicity and killer AI tools, I’m diving headfirst into building SobberAI.
What’s SobberAI? It’s an app aimed at supporting people on their sobriety journeys using AI-driven encouragement, accountability tools, and community features. As someone passionate about mental health, I wanted to create something meaningful, even with zero coding experience. Replit’s templates, autocomplete, and “just hit run” vibe made it feel possible!
Hi, I’m Drew Davis, a Cloud Enthusiast dedicated to making cloud learning more accessible. I discovered Replit through a coworker’s recommendation, and after deciding to give it a try with a one-month subscription, I must say I’m impressed. Although it has its quirks, I’ve managed to create several applications and I’m particularly proud of my Weather app.
My journey in IT began in 2008 when I served in the United States Navy. Today, I continue my passion for technology while working for the state of Indiana.
Hi everyone! My name is Alex and I started my career in the military as a pilot. I obtained my undergrad and masters in aerospace engineering and worked with Boeing.
During my undergrad, coding was always an ethereal element of my learning. We learned to code in Matlab and some data collection languages, and python was promoted but not supported within our computer networks without difficulty. However, I did learn a lot during my masters as I studied propulsion and aerodynamics, an application that has heavy data capture and processing requirements, for which python was essential. But even then, my scripts were simple, straightforward, and primarily focused on creating technical representations of data (charts/graphs) because they’re more suited for technical papers and journal submissions.
With Boeing, I had my first experience of the Agile environment of software development and I’ve loved the ethos and spirit of tech companies and individuals to fix the problem and to stop talking about it!
Now, I work as the innovation coordinator at an engineering firm. I get to help develop programs, implement new hardware and software in support of digital transformation, and for me the most enjoyable part has been the experience of solving work flows issues with robotic process automation (RPA). RPA is not new, but tools like Replit Mae it accessible for quick prototyping and code generation. Following, the solution can be moved to a more permanent delivery.
It feels like a sandbox, and I kinda like talking with my agent… is that just me
Thanks to the Replit team - excited to continue to learn.
Hello everyone! I am Noma and I am a non-coder striving to be proficient in replit and hopefully someday build something of commercial value. Looking forward to learning from you all.
My name is Greg, and I come from the world of Production and Media operations. I have no education in coding, but Replit is a sandbox I love to learn in and see what’s possible.
A bit about me:
I’m a former Film Industry Lighting/Art Director become Production Operations manager and making things simple is in my DNA
I love creative problem solving, and helping people’s vision come to life
In my free time, I love my community, hosting dinners with my wife, networking and connecting people to opportunities, watching inspiring movies, & all things outdoors.
I live in Santa Barbara, but I’m from New Jersey. I’ve lived in Alpharetta, GA, and Ventura, CA but I’m loving it here in SB.
I’m excited to meet many of you, learn more about this amazing community, and see to grow and develop.
@kody-replit the email invite was sus to me due to me being in cybersecurity LOL
SO hi! I’m new to the Discource - and… while not necessarily new to coding, having over a decade in cybersecurity, I definitely haven’t touched it in a long, long, looooong time.
I’ve been using a mixture of ChatGPT/Claude with helping with PRD’s and input structures, as well as training them on for prompting into Replit and to either use the Agent or the Assistant.
Had to restart my project since trying to go back to a checkpoint/reverse/make changes was getting beyond frustrating and racking up the bill, so it makes more sense to clear the slate and rebuild - best part is, rebuilding is QUICK!
My goal is to deliver a webapplication as a SaaS and quit the corporate 9-5 to move fulltime to my own.
Hey - I’m Dave, happy to hear from other people building with Replit. I am not a developer, I’m in Sales/Customer Success for a messaging app and work with clients to integrate with our API. I started playing with Replit mostly to become more familiar with what it takes to integrate with our platform, which has evolved into learning about building AI applications that do the same. My favorite thing about Replit is that when a client developer or solutions partner tells me something will take 6 months to build, I can tell them I built a working MVP this weekend so we should be able to find someone who can move much faster.
Hey All!! I’m Chris Henry, a tech leader currently working at a not-for-profit civic data organization! I’m using replit to prototype tools for the team!
One key thing I’d love to see in Replit: Allow the webview to access external content. My app has a Google sign-in, which is blocked in webview, so I have to open in an external tab every time.
Hello everyone! My name is Tyler, and I am in the process of getting my master’s degree in industrial/organization psychology. I used Replit for my AI class and created programs with the agent for HR purposes. I don’t have much coding experience as my education has focused on psychology, but I have always had an interest in computers and technology. I am hoping to learn more so I can use Replit in my future professional career in the field of I/O psychology and HR.
Hey everyone - I’m Madison. I’ve worked as a product manager in a variety of software industries and I am using Replit to build quick prototypes for my engineering teams.
I am also exploring Replit for building some projects that I am looking at monetizing and starting a business with!
I am a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with a strong real estate technology, sales, and marketing background. I have co-founded and scaled multiple successful real estate technology companies throughout my career, leveraging innovation and strategic leadership to drive growth. My expertise lies in business development, revenue growth, and operational efficiency, helping organizations optimize their sales and marketing efforts. With a passion for automation, AI-driven marketing, and lead generation, I am dedicated to enhancing productivity and performance for real estate professionals.
I’m a former SaaS founder who successfully sold a B2B SaaS app to a private equity firm. In my industry, I’ve seen a concerning rise in gambling issues among Gen Z and Millennials. Traditional resources like Gamblers Anonymous don’t always resonate with younger generations, leaving a huge gap in support.
I’m playing Replit to develop an MVP. Excited to share more soon!
Hi Chris!
Try to switch sign-in from redirect to popup. I had a problem with sign-in on production when I used redirect, which was suggested by the Replit Agent. Switching to pop-up helped and solved the issue with opening in Webview as well.
Hi. I’m a CS major by degree, but that was several lifetimes ago. Throughout my career, I was the vision behind many new software solutions, but never one of the programmers. Since retiring, I’ve been using Replit to build “simple” solutions that improve life in volunteer organizations with which I’m associated. These are beyond my individual capability, and the organizations cannot afford to hire a full software development team. Replit and its agents allow me to create and deploy the solutions. It’s been fun to create working code again. I’d forgotten how visceral of an experience that can be.
Hello. I’m Shem and fairly new to coding. I’ve always had a fascination about coding to creatively build websites, apps that suits all environment. I recently created and launched my first app via Replit www.braintraininghub.com
It’s a game that helps exercise the brain in terms of memory, focus, and analysis.
I’m looking forward to build more apps and hopefully get involve in projects.
