Hi everyone! I’m George from Hong Kong. I love Replit and trying out new ideas on it has been both exciting and fulfilling. I’ve had the chance to learn several programming languages like C++, Python, and R. After that, I spent two decades working in finance, specifically in investment product management. I have not much chance to practise coding.
Now, I’m eager to build something that can help elderly folks (including my parents 
). I am currently exploring how to integrate locally hosted language models with Replit, there’s still a lot for me to figure out.

Hi Matt! I’ve been having a hard time developing with Replit. I’m a complete novice so I’m just using the AI to create the software for me. It keeps having errors and I have wasted lots of time. Do you have any advice? I am about to give up. I’m happy to tell you what I’m trying to create if that’s beneficial. Thank you!

My plan is to build out more sites and also use AI for building out Agents.
In the meantime, I’ll be building out more apps using Replit!

Hi everyone! My name is Melanie and I have two Replit accounts, this one is my work profile which I am especially excited about because I was recently able to get Replit cleared through our Technology Review Committee for experimental use in our City.
I am the Chief Innovation and AI Officer for the City of Lebanon, NH and am a non-coder, coder-wannabe. I am zero interested in monetization and 100 percent interested in putting AI to work to solve real-world problems at the local government level. I’ll never be a millionaire. 
Right now I am working on creating a portal that holds our City’s Strategic Plan. Right now we have it housed in Miro but it’s ginormous and not easily accessible for our public who don’t know how to use Miro. I won’t bore you with the details but I am getting the thumbs up from our City Manager to keep building and am constrained by a super tight budget. That means I don’t want to share what I am doing and incur unnecessary costs since those costs are paid with tax payer money.
My youngest son works for Microsoft and he said I should set up a CDN for public viewing and keep the flask app internal but my attempts to set that up so far using Cloudfront have not been successful. I am hopeful I will get this figured out but I seriously don’t know what I am doing.
I am a huge Replit fan and excited about being able to finally make headway (if I can control costs) building solutions for our city. Local government is where you can actually get things done but there are major limitations on available funds and technical resources. This era of genAI is a gift to local governments who figure out how to embrace it. As you can see, I am passionate about what I do and am looking forward to participating in this community.
