Introduce Yourself!

Hello everyone, I’m Carlos from Chile, and it’s a pleasure to be here with you today. As an Auditor Accountant, I’ve always had a passion for application development, even though I don’t have formal training in programming. I discovered REPLIT as an innovative solution that allows me to create code and applications without being a professional engineer or programmer. It’s the tool I always hoped for.

REPLIT has given me the opportunity to explore my ideas, face challenges, and learn in the process. It’s a platform accessible to everyone, regardless of their level of experience. I am deeply grateful to REPLIT for opening the doors to a world of possibilities. It has benefited not only me but many others who share my passion.

I hope to continue learning and improving with each project. This forum is the ideal place to generate synergies and share knowledge. I invite everyone to make this community the best for learning and sharing. Together, we can grow personally and professionally.

Thank you for the opportunity to share my experience. I am excited about what the future holds and to be part of this incredible community. Greetings to all, and I hope that together we make this community a place of learning and collaboration. Regards

Hi this is Ramana - I am data scientist with 15+ years in helping clients with data analytics / predictive modelling. I use replit quite a bit to create very fast poc especially integrating LLM. Replit is lot of fun and helps me visualise my ideas in realtime :). Excited to be here

Great, overall I think this is a great start → How are you looking to get more adoption for this app?

Hi everyone!

I’m Shariq. I studied economics in college, and my first job was in operations at Motive. I quickly fell in love with building software and transitioned to the product team, where I discovered my passion for talking to users, understanding their problems, and developing solutions.

I’ve always wanted to learn how to code but never had the time or motivation to commit to it. About six months ago, I discovered Replit and started the 100 Days of Code challenge. I enjoyed it so much that I completed it in just a month. Since then, I’ve been learning JavaScript, React, and Node.js. I also hired a personal tutor and have daily stand-ups to stay on track.

Hey everyone, I’m Neill. I work as an AI Architect (which basically means I help internal people build stuff with AI, plan/write/evaluate AI policies, and eval vendors before any large purchases).

I also TA for an Applied Natural Language Processing class for an Online MS in Analytics program ← secretly my favorite job

I’ve built several prototypes and experimented with the Agent quite a bit. I usually end up cloning to my local machine and messing with the code on some of the more complex features/use cases. Anyway, glad to be here!

Hello…My name is Jobu.
I just started coding about 8 months ago. I didnt start with a calculator or a snake game. My 1st build is a gamified automated trading app with a fully functional Ui, market data, performance analytics, and an extensive relational database. The learning curve has been steep, but full of alot of personal growth and check points. Replit has been an amazing tool in my learning process, and has given me the tools to approach this from multiple angles to hone in on the final product. In return i’m sure ive contributed to some serious error handling for the models. Lol. Stay tuned for release…respect!!

no idea, need to get some testers

might deploy at work as that is why I built it

Hey All!

Name is Jordan. I’ve been a nerd for a majority of my life, so programming and hardware was always fascinating to me.

I’m using Replit to help build a Search Engine that prioritizes the community. I have a base setup and am slowly building the community feedback features.

Check it out if you’d like. seeekoh.com

Hope to see some insight and more here!

Hey guys! My name is Yousha! I’m pretty new to programming in general but Replit has definitely made it extremely easy for me to test out a lot of my ideas so far! I’m currently building a simple website that will help users know which LLMs their machines can easily run. Do you think this will be useful to the community?

I’ve also built a mildly successful puzzle game called Islamic-Connections; check it out here: https://islamic-connections.com/

Hi,

I’m a startup founder with a sales background, (not technical). After doing 2 small exits, I realised the value of being technical.

I started using Replit to rebuild my old startup and was able to execute on 1 by myself, saving me a lot of time and resources!

So now I’m using Replit to build my 3rd business and hopefully one that is a lot more fruitful…

Happy to be here and keep learning!

hey folks,

I am an Arabic translator working on software localization for a tech company. Arabic is an RTL language and usually not well served, so I decided to use Replit to solve issues for which there are no solutions. So far, I built an app that helps me use ChatGPT models to translate large documents. Next, I want build an app that reads Arabic articles, books, etc.

Hey Salam, I would love to connect with you and help you with this somehow!

Hello all fellow developers and Replit users!
I am Kostek, a passionate developer, a beginning game-dev newbie, and a pro user of Figma to create awesome UI/UX designs for my own projects. I am into AI since November 2022 and have been exploring different aspects of it especially GenAI (AI tools, platforms, chatbots, LLMs, AI Agents). GenAI is a fascinating field that will revolutionize how Software is created (it’s going to be developer super-power for those who know how to use that). I have worked with Python (backend frameworks like Django, Flask, FastAPi), React and recently React-Native for the mobile app that I have been developing since summer 2024.

Looking forward to e-meeting other fellow developers, sharing experiences, insights, cool projects built and collaborating on a mutual one in the future with truly passionate people alike!

Hey Replit Community! :rocket:

OMG - I just have to share how I literally jumped out of my chair when I got that Replit email selecting me for this community! And being among the first 250 posts? That’s like having a rare Pokemon card… or maybe it’ll be the next big NFT someday! :joy: (Future me, if you’re reading this in 2030 when this post is worth millions, remember to thank past me for the jokes! :bullseye:)

Let me take you on my wild Replit journey that started 6 months ago. Picture this: a complete noob with big dreams and zero idea how to make them happen. Then BAM! :collision: I discovered Replit, and suddenly all those “I wish I could build…” thoughts turned into “Holy cow, I actually CAN build this!”

My first creation (still cooking! :cooking:) is this game (warning: it’s in Italian, because pizza-pasta-mandolino :spaghetti:):
Check out my game!

But here’s what really blows my mind about Replit - it’s like having a magical coding companion that says “Hey, you’ve got a crazy idea? Let’s make it happen RIGHT NOW!” No more “but I need to set up this” or “but I need to configure that” - just pure, unadulterated creation! :sparkles:

What I’m Exploring :magnifying_glass_tilted_left:

I’m currently deep diving into some seriously cool stuff:

  • Multi-agent systems (trying to make AI’s play nice together :robot::handshake::robot:)
  • Vector databases (because apparently regular databases are too mainstream :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:)
  • AI tools that make me feel like I’m living in the future

The Big Dream :glowing_star:

Here’s my dream (and yes, it’s a big one): I want to be part of building a world where technology brings out the best in humanity. Where someone with an amazing idea but limited coding skills can team up with tech wizards and AI to create magic. Think “Avengers, but for coding” - assembling the ultimate team of humans and AI to make awesome stuff!

Currently, I’m wrestling with swarm APIs and smolagents (they’re like trying to coordinate a dance party for robots :man_dancing::robot:), and I’d LOVE to connect with others who are into this kind of tech sorcery!

Let’s Create Something Amazing :rocket:

But you know what’s even cooler than all this tech stuff? The potential of what we could build together! Whether you’re a coding veteran who can debug in your sleep or someone who’s just starting out and still thinks Python is just a snake - I want to hear your ideas, share laughs over coding disasters, and maybe create something that makes the world a tiny bit better.

So here I am, arms wide open (virtually, of course :hugs:), ready to:

  • Learn from your awesome experience
  • Share my noob adventures
  • Collaborate on crazy projects
  • Maybe create something that changes the world
  • Definitely make some coding friends along the way

Come on, don’t leave me hanging - what’s your story? What makes you geek out? Got any project ideas that keep you up at night? Let’s turn those 3 AM ideas into reality!

P.S. If this post becomes an NFT in the future, I call dibs on 50% of the profits!

Let’s make some coding magic together! :sparkles:

Hey Replit Community!

Here’s how Replit is secretly powering the future of Artificial Giggling Intelligence:

  1. Infinite Loops of Laughter:
Replit’s knack for running infinite loops is the perfect recipe for an AI that can laugh endlessly. Just whip up a loop like while True: print("LOL") and voilà! You’ve just laid the foundation for AGI. Who knew the path to AI enlightenment was paved with giggles?

  2. Debugging = Developing a Sense of Humor:
Debugging on Replit has me cracking up at my own blunders. If teaching an AI to chuckle at life’s little coding quirks isn’t progress toward AGI, I don’t know what is! Each bug squashed is a step closer to a world where AI appreciates a good laugh.

  3. Collaborative Coding = Comedic Timing:
Thanks to Replit’s multiplayer magic, coding with friends turns into a comedy show where timing your punchlines (and your code commits) is everything. It’s like stand-up, but with syntax errors as your material. Who needs a stage when you’ve got a shared coding environment?

So, the next time you fire up Replit, remember: you’re not just coding; you’re paving the way for the future of Artificial Giggling Intelligence. Keep those laughs coming, Replit community!

Thanks again, Replit, for making the journey to AGI not just productive, but downright hilarious!

Happy coding
