Have the error loops gone away yet?

Hi all, I’ve taken a Replit break while they fix the issue. Is it safe to get back into the water now?

The cost was an issue but the mental stress of the agent failing to fix errors it claims to have fixed was worse! If Agent acknowledges it hasn’t correctly fixed an issue shouldn’t that trigger a new charging model so users don’t cover the cost of platform issues & bugs?

Not for me yet.

How long of a break did you take?

In my experience Agent 3, especially with multi-agents, reduces error and tech debt.

i would say they are marketing gimmick like builder.io who went bankrupt later eating investor money , same is happening with replit , start using claude code directly in your terminal or shell and use all replit feature there itself and with no markup and unlimited in some plans within 200$ and abuse opus 4.1 and sonnet 4 unlimited and if you desire about UI designing then use github spark for ui ( Best designs as of now )

i would say agent is down since a month , Replit is broken , expensive and continues with endless list and most of the real engineers and devs have already left this platform , this is another crap like bolt.new , probably both will close anytime in future

Builder.io is still operational. You’re probably referring to builder.ai, which was a complete fraud. It pretended to be an AI coding app, but it was actually human developers behind the scenes producing the code.

There are no parallels to draw between Replit and builder.ai.

My production level is above previous v2 levels now. Agent 3 is cruising. Come back in and give it a try with the new autonomy toggle. If you want a v2 like experience, keep it on ‘low’ with app testing ‘off’.

I’m still having very slow progress on my app, but it’s a huge project so i’m hoping it gets better as they roll out new features and get the system optimized. I haven’t started any new projects but I keep hearing for new projects it works really great, manage your costs with the levels keep it in low-med and it should be around $10-$15 per hour. I turned off the app check function, I didn’t really like it and it added cost for very little gain, I babysit it anywhere I don’t really leave it running for more than a few minutes at a time. I’m going to try some of the other suggestions with claude direct like TheCodingLord suggested, its just alot to tackle but the costs have been over $1000 a month for the last few months for me so if I can get it down to $200-$300 it would be nice.

I’m going to go back into the waters this week! :grimacing:

It’s been about 5 weeks. Hopefully it will be a better experience now. How are you finding it?

Now I’m curious if it’ll fix some of the bugs in old projects. Sounds like it’s improving.

Finding the new Agent 3 and also today’s release of Claude Sonnet 4.5 to be a winning combo so far!
