We split test pricing for Core/Teams memberships pretty often, probably one of those.
I don’t think that’s a good idea.
The same service should have the same price for everyone.
Perhaps it might be better to consider a transparent approach? Users tend to appreciate clear communication about pricing changes, which could help maintain the trust you’ve built with your community.
Before doing any platform-wide pricing change we’ll normally test it (as we’re doing in this one) on a subset (in this case of new signups) to get metrics about the impacts, then when we have a formal pricing change that applies to everyone we send out notifications / emails and normally do some in-app announcements.
