How does one install GA, to understand how the product is being used.
I keep asking the assistant and it keeps rejecting my requests.

just copy the script tag and paste it in your index.html head section.

You could also ask the assistant to paste the script where Google has instructed you to add the script in your code if you are unsure how to.
I tried that, but the assistant is refusing to paste anything tracking related.
Even if I tell it that the script does something else, it refuses it.
can you post a link to the repl where that happened? want to look into it, that should work
it does work if you add it manually, but I’m surprised that the assistant is resisting this
that worked, but I was surprised that the assistant kept rejecting my request.
now no matter what I say, it thinks I’m trying to install tracking scripts, so that door is closed. 
what kind of app is it? maybe you convinced it of something as part of your initial prompt.
