Does anyone know what happened with the tool icon that opens the console?

I didn’t notice until you said something. I guess we have to use external browser tools for browser console now?

I did just now and it is very annoying that has gone - was a key tool for me! And no warning either.

That bottom drawer had more than just the console, had detailed errors, endpoints, and local storage, etc
right? to me as well
I think OP is referring to browser/dev tools, not the Console tab.

“Our apologies for any confusion. We were able to connect with our Engineering team, and they confirmed the Dev Tools button was removed from our UI. Due to user feedback, we feel users received more complete information from an external browser tab’s developer tools. We recommend taking advantage of your browser’s native tools. We’re sorry for any inconvenience.”
Now we gotta go outside of the app to debug it, which makes zero sense…

Well, they’re not wrong. The browser console in an external browser was always more useful.
It is faster, tho just one click you will see it helps a lot, but browsers have more info, I agree

Very silly decision. Having this available in the preview tool allowed for fast debugging and testing. They seem to be forgetting their core users.
And “what” user feedback??? We’re any users on here asked?
