Custom domain not verifying

Hey there folks!

I am trying to get my domain manually connected from another registrar and it’s stuck on verifying for some time now. I added the A record with the values Replit gave and added the TXT version with the value it gave as well and I it’s just stuck on verifying.

Can I get some assistance on this please?

If you want to post screenshots here of your DNS settings and your Domain page on Replit either here or in a DM, I can help get you sorted.

See what Eric has once you get some screenshots - it maybe something in your config isn’t right.

If that doesn’t help, then, from previous posts about this issue, it seems the best thing (given how slow Replit support is) is to wait 24 hours, and if the domain still doesn’t resolve:

  • delete the TXT and A name records from your DNS
  • delete the domain on the Replit published site
  • wait a couple of hours - in case Replit do some kind of cleanup
  • start again: add the domain and DNS records from the beginning

I know this feels drastic, but it seems Replit’s domain system occasionally drops the ball on adding domains.

Let us know how you get on either way.

Seems drastic but takes 3 minutes and usually works.

But most often it’s a config issue.

Having the same issue trying to link a domain manually. I set up all the correct values in godaddy. In Replit/Domain it has been stuck in verification for a few hours.

Did anyone get see if it resolve din 24 hours or did anyone have to contact Replit suppot? Thanks!
