For weeks I had the issue where Agent or Assistant were able to reply and do stuff to my apps, but that the apps wouldn’t actually run, in either the Preview or Dev Tab. I’d get the infinate loading spinner. Occasionally I couldn’t even get access to the Replit environment, but it was intermittent.
Replit support worked with me, checked out my apps using the app invite feature so they actually poked around, and we came up with no working solution.
I finally found a workaround, and I’m quite sure it’s related to Falcon - my work machine requires Cloudstrike Falcon to be installed and running for security/compliance.
Every five minutes or so (when I notice loading spinner issues) I need to clear browser history, re-log in to Replit, and things work again. It’s a pain in the butt having this 1% productivity tax, but at least I found a way to work, and I’m really glad my apps were not broken entirely, which seemed to be the case.
This is intended to be a possible workaround for those of you with similar issues that also have some type of security/compliance software installed.
Big fan of Replit and I’m making some great no-code apps, worth it for me to be along for the ride even if the road is a little bumpy!
