I have been messing about with this and I just have to say it’s absolutely incredible.
I’m certainly not Replit-guru level (so actual programmers keep this is mind) but having Claude review my app directly in Chrome and make suggestions is amazing.
I think Agent3 is the bees knees but it’s nice to have a 2nd opinion.
I wish they’d build a similar integration with Claude like they have with CGPT using the @Replit tag.
But maybe this is better anyway? let Agent3 do it’s best (which I have to admit has been very very good to me) and then open Replit in a Claude Code tab and ask for a review.
To be honest I’m still shaking my head at how great this is…
Do I understand correctly that you are requesting Claude in the browser to review certain specific files, and you allow Claude to provide suggestions for enhancing and improving the code? Or are you asking Claude more like frontend suggestions?
So I created an app for internal use for our team last night, fully running, looked and worked great but wanted Claude’s opinion and since I just very recently saw that Claude Code had added an extension to Chrome that could (if allowed!) do all sorts of other things in your browser I thought I’d try it with Replit.
And lo and behold it is quite stunning.
It’s basically like if I uploaded a zip to CGPT or all the individual files into a Claude project (because Claude doesn’t/can’t unpack zip files) and asked for it to take a look at my build.
It reviews literally everything (in my case as that’s what I asked) and then makes suggestions.
Initially I was just just asking Claude to frame any suggestions/prompts for me and I was then pasting them into Agent. Which again worked flawlessly.
And then I wanted to be able to title my Git Commits (like “v1.0.5 - adjusted CSV output” (rather than what Replit decided to title it) but Replit autosave but was pretty much always committing before I could get there (which is a good in my opinion!) and so I let Claude loose on it’s own and not only did it label my commits v1.0.1 and v1.0.2 it actually then showed/explained to me how to do it myself in Shell!
And be careful! I most certainly wouldn’t let an automaton loose on my online world but I only use Chrome for Replt and have turned off and/or deleted anything that might be saving data that could be accessible like password managers etc.
