I have an app that has been published using Autoscale. But I know for a fact that my client has given up on it and is not visiting or using the website/app.
So why are there still Compute Units costs for that app? We are only talking a few dollars over the month, but surely it should be zero?
What is your deployment type - static, auto scale, etc.? If auto scale, do you have any server side actions like polling, or functionality like rolling current day, etc.? Depending on how things get implemented, something seemingly innocuous could be handled on the server side, keeping it consuming minimum CPU / RAM allocation.

It says Autoscale in original post
Nope, no polling, crons, or anything. Just a boring old Saas website that sits there unused. Except,… something clearly is accessing it to ensure my bill clocks up.

D’oh! I clearly read but instantly overlooked that important detail from the original post!
that will teach me to not reply in haste (actually it probably won’t, but I’ll try to learn from my mistake).
I’m not an expert, but docs say they autoscale to zero… so if you figure out the culprit, would be great to share. I’ve not had the issue myself as I unpublish my dead apps, and anything else I have published does tend to get legitimately called, even if very minimally.

Ah ha @kblumson …So you’ve now formally met @Gipity-Steve
Steve, doesn’t Replit charge a small amount just for having an app published? Hosting fees, or are you specifically talking about compute fees?
Like my brother, I too haven’t read your original post fully.

Good to have now met both Blumsons
There are 3 parts, and yes, I would expect costs for the first and last. But the one that is bugging me is the Compute units - this should in theory be zero. All very weird
