'View Preview' external tab not working

Hello. I am new here. Been working on my project for the past 3 months. When the checkpoints are made and the ‘view preview’ button appears, it usually shows the same as the preview in the 3rd window (to the right of the chat with the agent) recently this has stopped working. Is this similar to seeing what its like once deployed? So if this isn’t working then deployed version wont be either? I have been using to make screen recordings to build demo’s for suppliers…. It urgently need this working, any help will be much appreciated.

Hi @lennoxdeanne . Have you asked the agent to restart the app directly? I have also encountered situations where the preview doesn’t appear to load correctly. In those cases I ask the Agent to restart the app and it appears to reset the preview. I’m not sure if you are dealing with something more significant but that’s just a quick tip.

Thanks @anilmalhotra2 I appreciate your message. I tried what you suggested, before I did, the preview had completely stopped working, it says loading, and then just stops… Unfortunately it still isn’t working. Any other ideas welcome! Also, does this preview give the best idea of what the deployed version will look and work?

My experience has been that the preview does a pretty good job of replicating the deployment. The speed may not be truly representative but I’ve found it to be close enough. I would submit a support ticket while other suggestions come in.
