Replit needs a better Free-to-Paid User experience

Hey. Just came to Replit from Creao since they stopped supporting the app creation part of their service. Replit seems pretty cool and similar to Creao with a few nice features added on top. My problem is with the the free-to-paid user experience is not good at all over here. I created an app that wasn’t showing up (infinite preview loading after work was done), I refreshed and the preview gave me a 404 page not found. So i prompted to fix the issue and the free credits ran out.
Now it built the app with $0.27 which took 50% of the free usage, and the rest of the the 50% some how was consumed MID fixing the issue.
So for the Replit team, if you arent willing to spend more that $0.50 cents to gain a customer, youre going to lose a lot of people, me for one. So my advice to you as some who has used several similar services, you need to give more freedom to free users so they get a chance to fully experience your service before making a decision. Here are some things other services do that could help you improve this part of Replit:

  1. 150 free credits equaling about $10
  2. 5 free daily credits, which keeps users engaged even after they finish the free quota and more likely to convert to paid
  3. Discord channel where they can engage with developers and other customers

Yep, have a similar experience, I built the first part yesterday, waited the 24 hours to add the second prompt, but as soon as I did I was shut down and forced into an upgrade path, which i will likely take in the future, but need to see the build of the second part…

How do i go about this?

And its not like they give you free credits. You just get two prompts per day no matter how big or small the effort is. And what is “$20 worth of credits per month” in the pricing plans? They need to hire a consultant regarding these things. It will pay off greatly.
