I love absolutely love Replit. I feel it’s given me god-like prototyping powers as I have sufficient technical knowledge to specify what I need in a way that helps Replit. There’s been a couple of times when the agent has gotten stuck.
Here’s what I did. My python app is fairly simple with most of the code sitting in a single file. I took this file to Claude 3.5 (paid version) and after describing the problem, I asked it to fix the code. It did, with an explanation. I fed this file back into Replit agent, with the explanation, asked it if it understood the advice and it fixed the blockage. I realise it’s not ideal but I don’t mind these hiccups once in a while.
