Published on App Store (Live) but still need TestFlight link

Hi Everyone;

I am stuck on a problem with submitting my app to the Buildathon portal. I am ready to submit. I am now active on the Apple App Store as of January 27, so there is no need to provide TestFlight, as I passed all testing in TestFlight. My link is submitted in the section provided, but I get a submission error because I didn’t include the TestFlight link. If the goal is to get published on the app store, then I should be able to submit my project. Anyone else having this problem?

Why not just post the TestFlight?

I’m under the impression that it may trigger a new review from Apple, and I may get bumped off the store. Not sure what Replit will do in TestFlight or if just reviewing results.

You have this backwards. TestFlight is the sandbox, no review. Submitting to Apple directly causes a review and possible rejection (which is impermanent, you just have to fix the issues they find - and believe me, they’ll find something!)

I’m not sure on the details for the buildathon, but from experience with the process, you probably just need a successful push to TestFlight so you can get them access to check out the app.

I could be wrong!
