I have built PactSentry - the perfect tool for anyone struggling to understand legal documents like employment contracts or rental agreements. Designed for everyday people, Pactsentry lets you upload or paste any document and get an instant, AI powered analysis. The app provides a clear summary, flags potential issue (like unfair clauses or missing details) and offers simple recommendations. I have no coding background and was able to build this website and Im close to finishing another. Everything was built using the agent and assistant including stripe integration. Please try and provide your feedback! https://www.pactsentry.com
Thanks for sharing.
One suggestion would be to show more value to the user before hitting the paywall. From what I could see, you have to pay before your first scan. How about letting them run their first scan free? Some product imagery on the homepage would also help them understand the value proposition first.
It’s an interesting area. This week, the UK regulator just approved a tech-only “law firm”, which is effectively a chatbot to help draft legal letters: Garfield AI
Matt thanks for the feedback. I have added a free promo code “NEWCUSTOMER” for first time customers. Please feel free to test or dm for info
I could easily extend this to draft contracts as well - the problem is that the contracts are of various kinds and I am not sure if I will be legally liable if the AI drafts an incorrect contract. Maybe a future update
Thanks, I was able to test with a demo document and it did a review. Couple of suggestions in case helpful:
Focus on a niche - legal review in a very specific area - e.g., employment contracts (or even more niche than that). This will give more targeted output and a narrower beachhead, making it easier for you to find and connect with a target audience. You can always extend to other areas.
Allow the user to give more context - e.g., if I upload an employment contract, the risk could be very different if I am the employer vs. the employee. Without it knowing which party it is advising, the output could be generic.
Good luck. Lots of potential for AI in legal. It’s becoming quite a crowded space (look up Harvey, Legora, Draftwise, Spellbook), hence I think a niche is the way to go.
@opossum-shore-h would you like to feature pactsentry on www.vibecode.law? It’s a new platform I launched last week. Totally free and open source. Was picked up by the legal tech press like Artificial Lawyer: Vibecode-Law Launches – An Open Platform for DIY AI Tools – Artificial Lawyer
Certainly i would. Open source sounds interesting….I actually built a few open source applications recently
Cool! Do you want to try adding it at www.vibecode.law and we’ll feature it? You don’t have to make your app open source - it’s just that our platform itself is open source (i.e., people can contribute to improving the platform).
