Anyone else getting this? I get it at least 5 times per day, seemingly at random.
When the page refreshes, my (half-)written prompts are still there, but any attachments are gone.
Hey, I’ve seen this too. It’s your browser tab running out of memory, not Replit’s servers crashing. That’s why your text comes back on refresh (Replit saves it) but attachments don’t (they only live in the browser until you hit send).A few things 1. Submit prompts more often instead of building up a long one with lots of attachments sitting there.2. Shrink images before attaching them — screenshots especially can be huge.3. Close other browser tabs while you work in Replit.4. If you’re on mobile, restart the browser every so often.5. If it still happens a lot, try a different browser (Brave or Firefox) and see if it’s better.
The real fix has to come from Replit — they should be uploading attachments to their server the moment you add them, instead of holding them in your browser. Worth keeping this thread alive so they see it.

Thanks for the info. I’ve now also tried starting a new chat with the agent, as the previous one had been going for 8 months!
