I’m a UX designer and my job is pushing me to use Replit. I’m brand new to it and currently watching tutorials, but I think it’s important to also talk to people who are actually using it.
I’m working on refining an existing prototype and I’m looking for advice on how to structure prompts effectively. I’ve already made the mistake of micromanaging, like telling it to set CTA buttons to exact pixel heights, and I’m worried about painting myself into a corner.
Are there prompt structures or best practices you’d recommend?
You should check out the prompts that the teams of engineers at Replit made for their live build sessions. They provide a sample prompt for their builds and structuring it in similar ways, or in ways that are written like those created under “Plan Mode”.
Although, sometimes, after sending the initial prompts that took a while to craft I find myself throwing in smaller prompts on the fly afterward.
I personally, liked this build session.
If you build it in eco mode you can get away with a working copy yourself for under $40 bucks…
