New app - which autonomy mode should I try?

I’m doing my first proper vibe coding this week since the new autonomy modes were launched, and I need some ideas on which mode to use.

I’ve decided to jump into the fire and try out a single “build the whole thing” prompt (obviously, there will first be lot’s of planning chats, to prepare my prompt).

The app isn’t going to be from a blank page - it will be built on top of my AI Dev Kit scaffold, which was created in agent v2.

I was quite keen to try High mode for this single prompt, but the Replit docs don’t seem to recommend High mode for pre-v3 apps. They are very sparse docs though, which give no real ideas as to why not.

So probably Medium - but it just doesn’t feel like a “single big prompt” kind of mode. Hhmmm.

Does anyone thinks High could work,…? Or any crazies out there think I should dust off a new credit card and go all in on Max?

If you’re trying to one shot it, you need max autonomy and app testing on. But, I haven’t played with High Mode in v3 yet. Enter at your own risk.

Does this also give you anxiety?

Agreed, max mode is not for me - anxiety mode :joy:

Am going to give high mode a go.

hahaha it shouldn’t, i’ve averaged $30-$40 session sometimes, but I expected those, its a re-learning curve on the new agent.
