Hi there I have been using Replit for approximately six months building multiple different applications at the end of January. I began to become so frustrated, trying to complete projects with multiple errors and issues that seem to take forever to resolve and then agent V2 appeared. This was an absolute game changer and I helped get many of my applications back on track Claude 3.7 for me and all of my applications was amazing!
I have recently over the past couple of weeks been experiencing similar issues as I did previously where the agent goes around and around and around in circles and continues just a break more things and I became very frustrated and then all of a sudden I start seeing Chinese in the agent transcripts I believe Replit have switched at the back end to using deep seek to the significant detriment. All my applications are now suffering, severe issues and significant degradation of agent performance.
I think this is totally unacceptable. I’m super frustrated. I want Claude 3.7 back. Can anyone advise?

I’ve never seen it. It is strange. @kody-replit Any truth to the Deep Seek thing?

We’re not using deepseek anywhere in prod, one eng tested it when it came out ( like we test basically all the models when they’re released) but the quality is way worse vs 3.7 so never went deeper into it. Agent v2 is using Claude 3.7 for most things, then a mixture of OpenAI/Google/Amazon for other things. happy to look at any Repls where this happened and see what caused it.

Well that certainly looks like Chinese haha, just pinged the AI team asking if there was any other deepseek testing I’m not tracking. Is that happening on all your Repls or just a specific one? Can you send a link to the repl so I can look at the traces?
Very weird I guess Claude started talking Chinese then multiple instances where agent is talking to itself in Chinese I’ll load screenshots later

Do you have any repl links to where it happened? talked to a couple of the guys and still haven’t found any repl chat threads with chinese in them so we can look into it
