I friggin love this app because its bringing ideas to life. But as an aspiring entrepeneur, I don’t see much support for migrating when the app becomes too big or needs to have something like Azure or AWS supporting it. Would be great to keep everything in house is what I am trying to say! =)
Haven’t had to migrate from Replit to another provider, yet, however, I have heard chatter across the interwebs of some people doing this - so is definitely possible. One opinion could be to keep your source code on something like GitHub and keep backups of data etc. I have a feeling infra engineers will be very viable long term for scenarios like this. I also don’t know at what point someone would really need to migrate, but IMO, if you do then you have a good problem as it means your app has probably scaled quite a bit.
Would be curious to hear others perspectives too.
