Is Embedding Still an Issue?

Is this still relevant?

Obviously, the logic / security risk still exists. Glad I found this during my research sift session today.

This is something to avoid. In fact, this is in part why Apples App Store Rules 2.5.2 prevents embedding / live preview inside the app. Prevent code / click jacking, malicious updates sent post App Store approval, and to prevent hidden feature activation.

Might be useful for @FernandoDC and other users learning to publish on the App Store.

Obviously, this isn’t what I’m going for and more than likely will require a different approach for TCL.

In fact, does Replit have a go to Apple Store Office Hour, or a designated staff member that handles Apple Store questions?

Or, is the expectation to go directly to Apple

@FranciscoCM

I’m looking to publish a few testers in Q3 2026 (July/August)

I also have a variety of questions for legal.

Should I make a ticket to meet with the sales / enterprise team to seek questions on legalese?

Or, is this going to require me to hire an attorney that specializes in contract law to review it and get the answers according to the context of each application?

I’m going to go meet with Apple directly end of Q3 2026.

If 2.5.2 is an issue because of live embedded previews I’ll have the Apple reviewers give explicit feedback that can be cited and re-shared here so users can save the time.

Not sure if this is why replit can’t deploy their IOS version because of this. It may be completely unrelated, however, still indeed an issue for embedding as the author of the original materials (from replit) stated.

In a year or two I’ll seek a lawyer specializing in contract law that can deliver services to SaaS’s.

Let me be clear. I’m paying for myself. However, I will aim to get documentation I can share, and anything said lawyer says I can share, I will.

Note: If you met with any lawyer you’ll know. It wont be much.
