Infinite Preview Loading

Hi everyone,I’m on the free Starter tier (forced to use Fast mode) and running into a persistent issue with Replit Agent on January 31, 2026.What’s happening:

  • I paste a prompt (tried both complex full-feature and very simplified UI-only versions).

  • Agent processes it quickly, uses low credits (3–30% depending on prompt), says “built and running,” and shows a thumbnail/screenshot of the app in the activity log sidebar.

  • Files appear in the file tree (e.g., index.html, script.js).

  • But the preview pane stays stuck on “Loading your page…” indefinitely — no content ever appears, even after 25+ minutes.

Troubleshooting I’ve already tried (multiple times, in fresh Repls):

  • Clicked the green Run button repeatedly (5–10 times).

  • Ran kill 1 in Shell, waited 10s, then Run again + hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R).

  • Opened preview in new browser tab (square arrow icon).

  • Tried incognito/private browsing window.

  • Hard refresh + cache clear.

  • Duplicated the Repl and ran immediately in the copy.

  • Created completely new Repls multiple times (deleted old ones to avoid any carry-over state).

  • Waited 30–60 minutes between attempts (in case of queue/backend delay).

  • Checked status.replit.com — only Integrations/Connectors is affected (BigQuery/etc.), all other services (Replit AI, Repls, Previews, Dynamic Hosting) show green.

The thumbnail in the activity log proves the build succeeded, so it’s clearly a preview/container sync or iframe wake-up problem on my end or platform-side.Has anyone else hit this recently (especially on free tier/Fast mode in late Jan 2026)? Any other fixes beyond the standard ones? Should I email support@replit.com with screenshots?Thanks for any help here!

I’m having this same issue across two of my apps. Replit agent has tried multiple things, including rollbacks to previosuly working states, but unable to resolve. Did you ever figure this out? Dreading having to rebuild the app from scratch.

Does it work if you open in external browser?

I have the same issue. I’m unable to click to open it in a new tab too. Agent has tried several times.
