Improve the how-to on using Discourse, the most counter-intutive forum system I've ever seen

SOmehow, I’ve already lost Introductions or self-introductions, whatever the chanell’s called. I was in there for ten minutes, though, attempting in vain to figure out how to post in the channel. That’s why I’m in this channel asking:

  1. how do I get s lost vhennl babk and
  2. where is the button or whatever mechanism to post in introductions?
