I think I know the answer, but is it possible to use the Replit Database tool to create separate databases for staging and production?
I suspect I’ll need to create a database outside the option for PostgresQL powered by Neon if I already have one set up for staging?

I ended up going to neon.tech and setting up a free database. I copied the database URL given on the console after registration and provided that to the Agent, who was then able to get the configuration set up for staging and production. I deployed and it seems to be working fine.

I was just about to ask this same thing a few days ago.
I’ve used your solution and it works perfectly.
It would be greatly appreciated if Replit provided a free database tier for the development environment.

I think replit should also support other database providers and much more clearly set the option to seperate dev, uat and production.
I HATE the fact the agent makes writes / or runs migrations directly on my database. It scares the hell out of me.

I second that. Right now for live apps I have to rely on db backups and low traffic to ease my mind when using the agent
Bumping this thread back up. Has anyone come up with suggestions for managing Dev/UAT/Prod?
