Hi everyone ![]()
I started Fatoorati (فاتورتي) on Replit as a simple static app and grew it into a small SaaS for freelancers and small shops in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf.
What it does:
- Creates bilingual Arabic/English tax invoices with correct RTL layout
- Saudi ZATCA phase‑1 QR code (TLV/Base64) generated in the browser
- Country presets for VAT: Saudi 15%, UAE 5%, Bahrain 10%, Oman 5%, plus custom rates and 3‑decimal currencies (BHD/OMR/KWD)
- Works in any country too: choose “Other” and set your own tax rate and currency
- PDF export, cloud save with Firebase auth, and a paid plan via Lemon Squeezy
What I learned building it:
- RTL + bilingual invoices are trickier than they look (mixed number/text direction)
- Generating the ZATCA QR client‑side kept the first version 100% static and free to host
- Starting tiny on Replit let me validate the idea before adding auth and payments

I’d love feedback on the UX, especially from anyone who’s dealt with RTL layouts or e‑invoicing. Happy to answer questions about the ZATCA QR format too.p.netlify.
