I was so happy with Opus 4.1 and then Replit replaced it with this dumb model. I wish there would at least be an option to choose Opus 4.1, I would be willed to pay extra. Opus 4.5 is really annoying to work with. It needs numerous attempts to get even the simplest tasks right. I have to check every little bit manually and fix manually. Opus 4.1 was totally different and so much better.
I’ve built my latest app with the agent on the free upgrade to Opus 4.5, and I have to say, I found it incredibly good.
Soon you won’t have the option to choose what model, it seems.
Now they changed it so you can’t opt out of using the higher model, I have been having great luck with it but I now this will come at a higher cost, which I’m sure this is the plan.

Used it recently, high, not max autonomous, with app testing. Smooth as.
I wish I was having this great luck everyone is talking about, I’ve been building mobile for my app and it keeps wanting to build new APIs and new databases, and no matter how many times I give it explicit instructions after it deviated from the original plans, it keeps wanting to build new because it can’t see the database and APIs (even though I feed it the code).
