# Wordpress deployment

Hi all,

What is the best way to deploy a website/app from replit to Wordpress?

I have tried the theme as well as plugin but it does not work optimal. I was expecting that I can get a full functionable website from replit to work inside wordpress.

Please advice.

Welcome @reza420000 - are you trying to embed the Replit app in WordPress? Or are you trying to make a theme or plugin?

@mark he is asking that i want to deploy a replit build website to wordpress. without embeding whole website @reza420000 wants to migrate to wordpress.

Replit actually recommended I migrate off of Replit for Wordpress. You have to use a different type of database than Replit has natively or use a plugin (the plug in adds a ton of latency). There’s also a lot of weird quirks like if you redeploy Agent overwrites what you’ve added from the admin panel, so it’s not really the best tool to use for Wordpress IMO.
