Please, Replit. Bring back the Economy for new accounts. 
I’m genuinely begging at this point.
Please bring back some form of the Replit Economy for new accounts. I understand that Replit has to manage costs, credits, and abuse, and I’m not asking for unlimited free usage. I’m just asking for a realistic way for new developers with no money to actually get started.
For some of us, Replit isn’t just another tool. It’s the only place where we can build, experiment, learn, and turn our ideas into something real without needing a powerful computer or a bunch of paid subscriptions.
I’ve been trying to build my projects, learning along the way, and using AI agents to help me develop. But when the free credits run out, everything basically stops. And when you’re a student or an indie developer with no money, there isn’t always a way to just “upgrade.”
Please give new accounts a chance.
Maybe:
- A small daily Economy allowance
- Limited free AI credits that regenerate
- A starter pool for new developers
- Earnable Economy through usage, learning, or community participation
- Or even a limited free tier with strict restrictions
It doesn’t have to be much.
Just enough to keep people building.
There are people who genuinely want to build on Replit but simply cannot afford the current costs. Please don’t make money the wall that stops someone from creating their first real project.
Replit has helped a lot of us get this far.
Please help us keep going. Bring back the Economy for new accounts. We really need it.
