Has anyone done anything in terms of putting their vibe coded apps through a proper load test. Load it up with 10,000 users, hammer the screens and API, and see how it handles it.

We are often told that scaling a vibed app will be where these AI developed apps fall down. But do any of us yet have any clue whether they can support 100 or 10,000 or 1 million users?

As an experienced dev, I suspect they can handle more than the fearmongers tell us. But I admit I’ve not yet taken a Replit built app for a proper ride.

It would be good if Replit did a deal with some of the load testing platforms out there. But in the meantime, has anyone got any thoughts on what tools or scripts we’d need to put some simple load testing in place?

Perhaps you could use an available git and just bake it into your app? There’s gotta be some freebies out there.

yes definitely something to play with at some point - must be stuff out there to hook straight into.
