# How Can I Track How Much I’ve Spent Developing an App?

Is there any way to know how much money I’ve spent on developing an app when the process takes several months? It seems unbelievable that there isn’t a place to view this vital information — it’s essential for keeping track of expenses and figuring out whether I’ll actually make a profit from the development.

Yeah for real. I have to keep a seperate spreadsheet of all the costs accrued for each project to keep track of each department’s dev expenses. Also, if I miss the period right before the monthly sub renewal, all that info becomes inaccessible.
