Wondering if anyone has sold their saas product that they created from Replit. If so, where did you sell it and what kind of product was it? Was it already generating revenue?

The main challenge now is making sure as many fashion businesses as possible know that this service exists.
A good place for you to start is by identifying the specific pain points of certain businesses or individuals and then offering a clear solution to those problems. 🙂

Yep. I built an app at first for myself, [stringbiz.com](http://stringbiz.com) - I play tennis as a hobby and string racquets for friends/teammates, etc. Decided to push it further and I’m starting to gather customers including some fairly high profile (for the stringing community) stringers. I also work in software, so I’m not completely new to this. It’s been fun. And to @Yianni ‘s point, the hard part is really the SEO/discoverability aspect of it. That’s almost more work than the app.

Yes, running around $80k a year plus from several apps built custom for clients. Done right, this can be extremely lucrative.

I have now achieved that Google shows my site 2000 times a day. I spent almost a month on it. But the tendency is to increase. Moreover, Replit configures SEO for me by itself

$80k/year from custom client builds is solid. And 2000 daily impressions after a month is a great start for SEO.
This thread is becoming a nice proof that you can ship real revenue from Replit. Keep posting updates.

I’m competing in the jewelry space, I did alot of seo before launch though, while building i setup catalog with rich content and hundreds of funnel pages so that when crawlers started finding me I would already have a presence, but I did not advertise or do any reddit and other marketing. I still don’t do ads and am getting thousands of visits and real sales in a very competitive industry, diamonds -as a new up and coming company. I’m small but I’m getting real conversions with zero ad spend. I was able to get google to index about 36k pages, i’m sure we wil settle around 20-30k of the top 10% of diamonds and then the hundreds of funnel pages which are the majority of traffic. If you go on claude or chatgpt it will guide you through an SEO strategy for your niche, this is more work than the app, i promise you but its where you make your money so it needs to be done. Most SEO is hands on so thats where sweat equity comes in.

Doing SEO before you even launch is the part most people get wrong. They ship first and then panic about traffic. You did it the right way.
Diamonds is a brutal space too. How long from first index to first sale?

first index was around October, I was still on here showing really early previews of my site, I had worked on all the seo features right away so that Google would start taking me seriously and had live inventory but had no checkout, I was just a catalog. I launched in December on the 22nd and had my first sale around 6 days after soft launch, was a $1500 pink diamond. I bet that the seo would pay off if I engineered it to do what everyone else isn’t doing, seems to be working but time will tell. You can see the large spikes are google’s and other search engine (including AI search engines) ingesting my catalog. You’ll see few conversions because only like 5% are real users, the rest are bots and search engines finding the site and figuring out what I’m doing.

All organic so far, I am trying to do this with zero ads for the first year, I am running an experiment to see how far I can take it building from scratch, all with AI with seo/AEO and word of mouth / organic acquisition. I will do social media but no ads again. Diamond sales rely completely on ads and is ruled by about 15 top retailers, I have no chance trying to out spend them so I’m going to try to go for volume of long tail keywords and build up my credibility with Google to qualify for the main commercial Keywords.

What does the app do? Hard to give specific advice without knowing the niche.

Toastmasters communities, r/publicspeaking, LinkedIn groups for presentation skills. College speech/debate clubs if you’re targeting students. Post tips and clips, not links. Let the app sell itself once people see what it does.

@realfunnyeric Once sold on Flippa, how did you transfer or give the Replit app to the new owner? I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this once sold. Trying to sell mine. I also didn’t know Flippa had a listing fee!
